One Year Mark & Valentines Day!

One year this week.  Me and Hna Matteson.
Valentine cookies! And they were still delicious!

First off, Dear boyfriends and special someones around the world,
Please write your sister missionaries. Someone has to be their companion and house-mate, and you have no idea how hard they are to live with for a week until the next Pday.  If I hear one more "He didn't wriiiittte. . .!"

Ok, now on to loftier topics. Like why I was wearing jeans playing baseball. It all has to do with the fact that I´m a good companion. The only thing worse than playing baseball wearing jeans would be playing baseball in jeans all alone, while your comp was in comfy shorts. Hna Erickson was going to be in that position, so I sacrificed my comfy shorts to suffer with her. That´s what comps are for. Suffering with you.

I got Erin Major's music CD and I love it! Except the last song gets me a little tiny bit homesick sometimes. Carribean Islands are great and all, but I ¨love the spot--clap clap--where the sagebrush grooooooows!¨

Where is the Bermuda triangle?

More La Venta nostalgia: I got the most darling letters from Yolanda and Freddi. And I found out from Yolanda that Freddi used to hang out with the popular kids, (you know, the bad ones) but ever since he started taking the lessons, he's alone a lot at school, and she sees him reading the Book of Mormon a lot. My heart melted. I love all of them so much.

Ingrid remembered something she read for the first time since we've ever taught her. She's been doing so good writing stuff down in her notebook. But she remembered all by herself about faith in Jesus Christ. She is learning so much. But slowly. We put a fecha (baptismal date) with her for March 29.

The work as a whole here is like a Sunday drive up the canyon. Just kinda slow. But less pretty. But onward and upward.

Love, Hermana Sarah
