Reassignment to Texas Fort Worth Mission

It's not often a missionary gives their "farewell address" in sacrament meeting after they have started their MTC training.  But these are unusual times and that's just what happened to Landon.  And unlike most "Farewells," we didn't have a get together or party afterwards to celebrate.  Landon couldn't even tell the family he had been asked to speak since no one could be invited to our first "at church" sacrament meeting since March.  So with only his parents and brother and a few ward members, he spoke eloquently about Ammon and the sons of Mosiah and their missionary service and how it compared to the work he would be doing.

Then, Landon received word on Sunday (July 12) that he would be going to the Texas Fort Worth Mission on September 1st, 2020.  Landon is scheduled to finish his Portuguese training mid-August and will have until the beginning of September to be ready to go.
