Temple Blessings

Landon finished up Home MTC on August 14th and sadly said good-bye to his district, his teachers in Brazil, and the missionary schedule that kept him somewhat grounded in this crazy time.  With his departure date still 2 weeks away, we wondered what we were to do,  (besides packing, of course!)

That same weekend it was announced that the Logan Temple would open to Phase 2 -- allowing endowments for "in-field" missionaries and couples waiting to be sealed.  I immediately emailed the temple letting them know that Landon was ready and waiting and had a week and a half before he left for his mission.  I worried when I didn't hear anything for a few days, and then found out that the temple had received over 400 emails that first day.

So imagine our excitement when I received a message asking us to set an appointment for Landon to attend the temple.  What a tender mercy!  Landon was able to go through the temple for his own endowment on Thursday, August 27, 2020 with 14 family members and friends.
With the Temple only holding 6 endowment sessions per day, we felt especially blessed that Landon was able to go before leaving for Texas.  And we felt especially blessed to be able to go with him and to be in the temple once again.
