Chris' Feb.16, 2009 letter

(In this letter Chris refers to
Sarah getting her drivers
permit, Sarah's A- in math, Rachel winning the school spelling bee, and a talk that
I have been asked to give about Chris' mission experiences.)


mom i like it. it is really great. but i think i said obedience brings blessings and obedience with exactness brings milagros. (miracles)
but i really like that that is great.
thank you for the bag and camera. that will be awsome.

man im so scared to go out in the streets now. even in uruguay sarah could be driving on the sidewalks. wow what a thought sarah driving. oh and sarah hold out your hands and let me slap them. you cant get bad grades like that . i mean look at me. do you think that i would be the great man that i am today if i got grades like that. any way. rach that is so cool that you won again but as i was saying to sarah, i could beat ya any day.hahaha. well sorry im just all jokes today. the truth is that our comps decided to leave us stranded outside of our house in our pday cloths so i don´t have much time. but i will tell yall about the baptism. it was so great her name is carolina. she is twelve and guess what we did it in the river. it was so much fun. we left early in the morning and went on a picnic with the branch. and in the afternoon we had the baptism. it was a shame that we couldn´t get in the river. but oh well.

oh mom about expiriencias all i can tell you is that it is a daily thing. i can tell you that the mornings that im in my desk to study even a few minutos late. its just not the same. but there is great power in the obedience. and not just to the rules of the mission but if your district leader says something or the zone leader or assistant. if we are obedient we get our goals and we feel better. sorry i cant think of a specific time but its a constant thing. all i can tell you is the scripture in d&c. every time we get a blessing its because we were obedient to a certain law. if we do any thing here in the lords work i think that its because we were obedient to something. (a baptism or some one in church.)

but thats all ive got, and i have to go plan for tomorrow. we have interviews and we have to give a talk. so see yall later. chou
