Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Family,
I'm a little pressed for time but I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving! We'll have a great one here, and your mouths will water when you see all the great food we cooked when we get home on Friday from exchanges. Thanks so much for the recipes! I've been looking forward to Thanksgiving for weeks -- last year I didn't even notice that it had gone by. We'll be out on an exchange on thanksgiving day in Angeles, so Friday will have to be our thanksgiving. On the menu -- mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken (turkey is too expensive), biscuits, and for dessert: bibingka (rice cakes), jello, and maybe a mango float.
The transfers went okay and we've been reviewing it and working things out for next transfer. Hopefully we can patch it up and make it work -- it really was a revolutionary way to have transfers and took a lot of planning. We got to go visit a less active member -- we were excited about getting out and working here close to the mission home, but he wasn't home.. set up a return appointment. There just isn't a lot to report sometimes from here in the office! Boring 4 days, getting things ready for Zone Leaders Council. Some great things have been going on in the field -- President Puzey is so inspired -- he's the Captain Moroni here and I learn so much every day. Chris -- what!? Ready for ma, mar, what was that? Married life? Good luck, ah! Looks like the shower went great, now you've got to start worrying about buying tupperware, and silverware... where does the list stop?
Love you all! Have the best week --
Love, Elder Loren Peck
