Mid Autumn Festival!

Hello everybody!!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!!  We had Mid autumn festival this week and it was so fun to see all the decorations and the celebrations! And we have so many mooncakes!! The moon was beautiful, it looks like you guys saw it too! It's so cool to see how much they celebrate the family here with their holidays.

And Conference was amazing! I loved all the talks and learned so much from them! I can't wait to get the Liahona and read through them again! I would suggest if anyone missed any of it, go back and watch it! For me it had so many answers to prayers. I know if you had any questions, God provided an answer. That's been one of my lessons for the week. It was almost a bit of chastisement for me, so I know for a fact that He does answer prayers and He's in our lives a lot more than we think He is. He's in the details. All we have to do is notice. :)

As for baptisms, sorry, I mixed it up a little, they're this week! On Sunday! Sara and Nico are doing so well, they passed their interviews with the Zone Leader! So now we're just getting everything finalized and they'll get baptized on Sunday. It's been so amazing to see Sara progress. She has such a desire to do what's right.

I think one of the amazing things about Hong Kong is how many people think that religion is just a convenient choice. They'll believe if it's convenient to their busy schedules, and it's a little baffling sometimes since I've been so used to growing up in a place where religion plays a big role in the way people live. It's been cool to see some people really looking for truth and light in their lives. It's been a real testimony builder for me to see how people react to coming in contact with the gospel. This church really is true and people can see it. Wow. There really are people here who are elect and ready to hear the gospel. God's plan is perfect for each and every one of His children. I'm so happy to have the chance to do a mission and experience the changes and happiness the gospel gives to people.

I love you all so much and hope that this week is amazing for all of you. Remember that God loves you and He really is watching over you. Keep up the amazing work!

All my love,

Sister Peck

For Pictures:
I got to see most of the district minus 2! It's always so much fun to see them! We're all still alive and hard at work!

Mid-autumn festival! The moon was beautiful and everyone was out celebrating with family.

So we also celebrated! We splurged on cheesecake and ice cream!! Wasn't as good as Lindsay's cheesecake, but it did the trick!

Temple on Friday!! It was an amazing day and we were able to go to a Cantonese session, so it was cool to be on the end where I had to wear the headphones. Yeah, lots and lots of pictures...

Then Sister Webb and I decided to get our Italy on, like Ben! So we went to this super yummy Italian restaurant and got pizza and noodles. Ok, maybe it's not quite as authentic, but it was super good anyway.

We had conference and this RM from Hong Kong visited our ward!!! She's super nice and it was so fun to see her catch up with the ward. Weird to think that someday that could be me!

Sister Hogsheno and Sister Groberg were hiding in the bathroom when we got home. We found them. We're always a little wary cause sometimes they like to scare us. ;)
