The elect are here, there, and everywhere!

Things here are SO BUSY. I've never had so many appointments lined up before, it's pretty incredible. We talk to people on the street, set up appointments, then ride on down. If they aren't there, we bike around and talk to more people and set up more appointments! So many! We had several return appointments with people we stopped to talk to on the street and started teaching several of them. Miracles. Our district set a goal to increase finding this week and the Lord blessed us. The people here are so prepared. Sister Seader has taught me so much about being bold in fulfilling our purpose by getting return appointments and using every opportunity to teach. Sister Day is so good at talking to everyone. They are huge teachers and examples to me and I am so grateful for them.
We had a lesson with a woman named Pam, and the Spirit guided us to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ which wasn't what we planned at all. We ended up asking if she would follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized and she said yes. You could see the Spirit confirm to her that it was right even if she's a little nervous. There is still a lot to teach but she knows it's right and good. That was a very spiritual experience.
There were actually so many spiritual experiences this week where we were guided by the Spirit and didn't even know it. The first one was stopping to talk to a woman named Martha. She was so excited to hear we would come visit her to talk about Jesus. She made us promise to come back (usually it's the other way around, we're begging them to promise to be there when we come back haha). The second was a homeless man named Sam. He saw us ride by on our way downtown and said that right then he hoped that we would come back and talk to him. Hours later, after an appointment, we were on our way back and he waved us down. He was in a lot of pain and we prayed with him right there on the street and had a lesson. Super cool. The third was  a man named Jorge who had also seen us riding by before and was wondering if we would come talk to him. Sure enough, we came riding down the street and started talking to him. He said he has had signs from God that he needs to change and come unto Christ and we are another confirmation. We have had two lessons since then. So elect.
The Spanish is coming along. I feel inadequate but at the same time, I know I have been so blessed to remember things beyond my own abillity. I contributed in a lesson in Spanish this week and it felt so good. I love when the Spirit just runs away with my mouth for a few minutes. District council is in Spanish and I think I'm following along until all of a sudden they ask me a question and I'm like....Lo siento? Haha. It's so fun.

Another fun thing? BIKING. I love biking. Best invention ever. We cruise around in our bright orange vests and ankle bands and wave at all the people. Love it.
I am praying about how to better do member work here because that is something I really miss. We are going to try to start the member family lessons again. I saw how much those blessed the ward in Mt. Airy and I know it will bless the ward here.
We got to do yoga this morning with a Sister in the ward who teaches advanced yoga. My baby crane pose is coming along nicely. I only fell on my face once trying to do the jump from downward dog into crane. I'll keep practicing :)

We got a phone call from the Assistants this afternoon. They informed me I am emergency transferring to Alameda, which is the Spanish branch in Baltimore. Just a little bit of a shock. I'll leave next Monday. Wow! I am very excited. But also sad to leave these amazing companions and this amazing area that I haven't even really gotten to know yet. It will be amazing to be with Hermana Whitehead and I know my Spanish will grow a TON there. Super excited because everyone who serves in Baltimore LOVES it. Says it's pretty wild. I hope and pray I can fulfill whatever purpose God has for me here in Martinsburg this week and then in Alameda after that.
Thank you for your love and prayers and faith.
Love, Sister Peck
