Ready, Set, Go!

On Tuesday night (Feb. 28), Maddy was set apart as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

 Then it was time to start saying "Good-bye."

 And time to pack the last minute items. . .

 More good-byes.  To her fish and Mr. Froggy. . .

 To her nieces. . .

 . . . and Jamie.

Then we had time to get some lunch with Sarah. . .

 Then we got in line with all the other cars headed into the MTC.  Sources told me that there were 339 new missionaries coming to the Provo MTC on March 1st and 995 new missionaries worldwide.  (The week before they had 222 new missionaries arrive at Provo.)

 I think Maddy thought we were just going to slow down and push her out.  She was glad we could stop for a minute, give last minute hugs, and take a picture or two.

 But, all too soon, she was whisked off to go get her books, show her around, and take her to her classroom.

She's off!  Let the adventure begin. . .
