So yes, monkeys. Last P-day we went to the infamous Monkey mountain! SO MANY MONKEYS!!! Unfortunately the pictures aren't very clear, but we saw some pretty cool monkeys. But it's hard to get good pictures when you aren't supposed to look them in the eyes... So that was fun! And we made it out alive! We also went biking and it was beautiful!
In other news this week we did pretty typical things. Sister Hugo said goodbye to Yuen Jimuih and Vilian and Jan Jan since they won't be back from Mainland until after she leaves. They were pretty sad. But we're hoping to still see her older daughters, Soanna and Cindy, since they aren't leaving. We'll see. We got a new investigator, Grace, which is so exciting!
Other than that, we had a birthday party for a less actives 7 year old son, so that was super fun! There are some pictures of that, but people kept moving. It's about as hard to get as our family pictures. You just can't win.
After interviews, President and Sister Lam took us to lunch, that was super fun! They're so nice and soooo funny. President Lam is definitely not one of those mission presidents that you respect and fear. He cracked a pun about my last name on our 3rd day in Hong Kong. Yup. He's so funny and so amazing. Sister Lam is a powerhouse. She gets things done fast and efficiently. I love them both so much!
Nothing else really happened this week. We didn't go to church yesterday because Sister Hugo woke up feeling sick. We had two members feed us on Saturday and it was so much food!!! it was so good, but so much! So that threw us both off. But we're all good today. ;)
Oh, I smashed my first cockroach!!!
It's been amazing this week to see Heavenly Father's hand guiding our lives. He really does love his children here so very much. This week has been good, sorry it's so short. I'm a little close on time. I love you all and hope this week is amazing!!!
All my love,
Sister Peck
