Temple Week!

Hey!

So yeah, we did go to the temple as planned on Thursday. It was so beautiful!! And such a blessing to be able to go to the temple again. I love the blessings of the temple and it was just very refreshing. I'm so glad that you guys also went to the temple! Those pictures definitely gave me flashbacks of January. So good to see pictures of all the family!

Not much happened this week, we went to the temple and got a few pictures! We also went to Mangkok for the street markets and that was fun, but we ended up going back to Central to a smaller market to get the souvenirs that Sister Hugo wanted for her family.

I got a new backpack for p-days, and I got water shoes! They aren't quite crocs, so I was a little skeptical, but they're actually very comfy and very good in water. Score!

I had exchanges with Sister Thomson and her summer missionary, Sister Lam. It was so cool!

We had a super amazing dinner with a member family and just a lot of fun on Saturday

We also had language study with a man from Utah who's lived here for like 20 years and speaks amazing cantonese. His wife is from Hong Kong. He's also a pretty famous actor here in Hong Kong, so that was cool. ;)

We had a relief society activity Saturday night and it was so much fun! It was a talent sharing/dinner activity and just a lot of fun.

Yesterday (Sunday) church was canceled because it was a level 8 Typhoon warning so we stayed inside most of the morning. Aaaand, I wish I could say it was exciting, but it hardly even rained. So yeah. Pretty disappointing.

So that was basically my week. Very short. We did have Mac and Cheese yesterday for dinner for Charlie. Sister Hugo was amazing and totally remembered. She's pretty awesome.

Also, we got transfer calls last night. And Sister Hugo and I will stay in West Point, but we'll be in a trio with Sister Percival until Sister Hugo leaves. I'm interested to see how this goes honestly. I'm a little nervous, but it'll be good.

Love you all so so much!! Thanks for all the updates! Best of luck with all you are all doing!

It's been really cool to see how the spirit works in people's lives. Heavenly Father definitely has a plan for every person on Earth. And even though I fall so short of the perfect missionary I wish I was, I know that Heavenly Father can make up for it. I love you all and pray for you! Have an amazing week!!

Love,
Sister Peck
