Oh, so yeah, for the rain, it goes from Amber, to Red, to Black, then Typhoon I think. Yup, super fun!! The MTR and busses shut down at Black.
It's been an interesting week. Lots of ups and downs for sure. Mom, I'm glad you got the picture from Brother Lao! I couldn't send it to my email since we aren't allowed to do that, so I sent it to yours! I thought you'd enjoy it too.
We ate lunch with them Saturday and it was so so good. I ate SO much!!! Two plates of salads, a main course of fish and potatoes, two full bowls of AMAZING Ice cream with a pancake, and some little cheesecake things...
yeah, really bad idea, but it was a super good buffet, so yeah. We also had dinner with the Fongs and the Fuhngs this week, both were so so good, they cook amazing food,
and now I can say that I've tried sea slug, lily, or maybe lotus, and okra, all of which were pretty good. The members are so amazing and I love them all so much! Sorry I didn't get pictures of the Fongs or the Fuhngs, but that picture with Karissa is Sister Fuhng on the right end. The members are so nice here. (Sister Karissa Peck is Maddy's cousin serving in Taiwan.)

This week had some hard parts for sure, just stress with the language, but it's also been so good. We weren't able to meet with Yuen Jimuih or Vilian this week because Yuen Jimuih burned her hand this week and was in a bit of pain, then later she went to go visit her husband in mainland with Jan, so that was a little disappointing not to see them, so hopefully this week!
Also, Jackie, the dog lady, hasn't answered our calls, so that's pretty sad, but we met a super nice girl yesterday who also has a dog who might be interested! So we'll see.
I went on another exchange with Sister Magelby since Sister Hugo is a STL. It was pretty fun! I led the area, West Point, which was a little intimidating, but ended up being just fine.
Some of the pictures are of last P-day when we went to get my Hong Kong ID (I'm Official!!!!!!!) And we went to Dragon Mall which has a roller coaster INSIDE the building, we wanted to go, but it was shut down. Probably a good thing, it didn't look like the safest thing ever...
Then we got some really good food, I got those noodles with fried chicken and a weird chestnut drink thing.
Oh, yeah and I got to hang out with Sister Stafford and Rees and their comps! I've missed them so bad!
Also, I got more pictures of the pier, sorry there are so many...
and of my legs which are getting pretty bitten... man the mosquitos, and even worse the tiny gnats! are getting pretty bad as it's getting hotter.
Mom, thank you so much for remembering that benadryl stick, It has saved my life!!
Also, I got a letter from the Fentons!! So nice of them!
They gave me those little quote cards! Thanks so much!
So it's been a pretty good week! I really really miss you all and I hope you're all doing well!
I love you all so much!! I'm so grateful to all of you for all your love and prayers. Also, enjoy that beautiful weather! I'm dying of heat here, so fun! I'm a little jealous... ;)
All my love,
Sister Peck
