Another Busy Week!

This week was pretty good, It seems like we had so much going on and yet it went by so fast. I don't really remember most any of it, so I'll try my best to touch on the most important things.

On Monday for p-day we went to the Bruce Lee museum again to see the actual Bruce Lee museum. It was pretty cool. Tuesday we went to Chloe, a RC's house for dinner and had hot pot. It's not really allowed, but if they cook the meat first it's ok. So that was really good.

Wednesday we had zone conference and zone finding right after in Butterfly and Castle Peak Bay. Both were really good, but by the end of the day, I was wiped out. But zone conference had a really good training on trusting in the Lord and trusting him to help us with our weaknesses. We got a few numbers from zone finding, but nothing's really happened yet, so we'll keep working with them.

Tony had his baptismal interview! He's getting baptized this Sunday before church since that's the only time he can make it. He's super busy and will only be able to come to church about 7 times this year. Welcome to Hong Kong. But he's super amazing and has a strong testimony. So we're really excited for him.

We had a primary Chinese New Year activity at the church and all the moms from kid's English class came with their kids! It was super cute. We made cute fish out of red envelopes and little fish shaped dumplings. The kids loved it. Score.

We also were able to teach a mom and her son, Fei Fei and Bobby. Bobby's a new investigator and we hope to keep working with them, and we also met with a potential Caillou. He has really good English and he surprised us by asking a ton of really good questions. So we're really excited about that. Fingers crossed that we can schedule him again.
Yesterday we had a chengout with a super cute family in our ward. They live in V-city which is super super expensive. And they bought the apartment above theirs and put a spiral stairway up to the next floor. It was the nicest apartment I've seen here. And they were so so nice. Have perfect english and an amazing conversion story where the mom joined the church, then her parents followed. So fun.

And today I didn't get on earlier because we caught an early ferry to an island called Tai O. It's super traditional, though, it's gotten a little more touristy. It used to be a fishing village and it still has the houses on stilts and stuff. It reminded me of avatar, you know the one about the painted lady? Yeah. Just like that. Except not in the middle of the lake. So that was fun and really cool. It was about an hour out and an hour back.
So in all it's been a good, busy week. We've gotten a lot done and there were a lot of tender mercies this week for sure. The weather is good, getting warmer, though it might dip again this week. But the worst of it is over, and it wasn't even that bad. Now it'll just be weathering another killer summer. Hope everything is well there at home. I love you all! Keep up the good work.
