Conference! Only a week late. . .

This week has been a good one. Not too much going on.
We went to Dragon's Back last p-day and the hike was beautiful!! It's just along the top of the mountain, that's why it's dragon's back.

And then the rest of the week was super typical. Everyone was freaking out about transfers. Ha. Karma for last transfer when only our apartment changed. Now it's everyone else's turn. So we had a chill week.
We had just a few adventures this week. One was on Thursday when we went to Liuh SiuJe's house to help Mandy with her English and share a message. But then her mom bought groceries and made us lunch... Now this normally would be awesome... except that we had a lunch with a member scheduled an hour from then. So... that was fantastic.
It was really good food, she'd made the dumplings herself, and some fried chicken and veggies. Then we went out with the Yeung family to an Indian restaurant and they gave us HUGE plates of curry. So yeah, this is the story of how I died.... Jk, I'm still alive. But we were so sick after that. The key is prayer.
And we got to have dinner with Chloe and her husband and Jimmy since Jimmy's birthday was the day before. He's 7 now! He's so adorable. We got him some toy planes because he LOVES planes. I'm not exaggerating. He can give the exact name of almost every plane out there and where they go.
Other than that, there actually weren't that many adventures. We were able to teach quite a few people, Tony, Pat, Fei Fei, etc.
That and we had Conference!!! I loved it so much!! I'm so excited for the Ministering program and for the new apostles. And the new Temples being built!!!! Yay!!! It was such a good boost of faith for me. This church really is so true. I was so grateful to be able to participate in sustaining President Nelson. So many good changes are happening and I'm excited to see what the future brings.
That was our week really. Not too much happened. It's been a good week and I'm excited for the next one! Love you all so much!!! Hope everything is going well! Keep up the faith!

Love, Sister Peck
