Whew what a week!!!! So we went to the temple on Wednesday and it was so amazing. I love love LOVE going to the temple!!!! It was so peaceful and really made the rest of the week go better.
Then we went to Mong Kok after to get Sis. Branch's glasses fixed, so she's been blind this week... And we were also hunting around for a present for Sister Perez's 20th birthday, which was on Saturday.
The rest of the week was pretty normal, we've been pretty packed full this week with investigators and members and all the things fighting for our attention. But somehow we survived (barely).

But there were a couple curveballs this week, Fei Fei canceled her lesson with us on Friday cause she was sick and now.... we're in trouble. She's not ready to reach her baptismal date next Sunday, we haven't even taught any commandments. But President Lam told us to try for it anyways, so we'll do our best! Her son Bobby apparently is struggling with bullies at school and is still adamant against listening to the lessons or getting baptized. Not sure how to help him. We'll keep praying for them, and something will come up.

I can't even say how cool it was to see him. He's amazing on T.V. and in real life it was even better. When they walked in, the room was filled with so much excitement, the choir performed, and we had amazing talks from both of them. It was so fun to see Kyle Wong be the translator for President Nelson. I used to have language study with him every week in Butterfly. What a cool opportunity for him.

And so cool for me, cause I heard everything in double!!! In English, then in Cantonese! It was strange for me to think that those on the stand didn't understand what was being said, cause sometimes they would accidentally cut off the translator. But it was a really really cool experience. And man you should have seen the translators panic a bit at all the medical terms he was throwing in there haha. Good times. And then I got to shake Kyle's hand after, the same hand he'd shaken the prophet's hand with. So yeah, I basically shook the Prophet's hand. He said it was a cool experience, though a bit stressful I'm sure. He did great. It was such an amazing experience. You can also look at lds.org, they have a little news thing about it posted. If you look really closely, I'm the little speck in the middle towards the very back.... Jokes, don't hurt you're eyes looking, but I was there!!! It was so incredible. He left a very personal blessing on the people of Hong Kong, he blessed their sick family members and many other very rich blessings, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
Also I got to see people from all stages of my mission, from West Point, Butterfly, and Castlepeak. I also met a guy with the last name Saunders who asked if I was related to Karissa. He said she just left his mission. Maybe she knows him? There were people from Mainland and all over. I saw the Corys too mom! They extended and will go home in a few weeks. And the Holmsteads said hi too!
